Dear Senator Rainaldi,

This letter is regards to the SOPA and PIPA act. It has come to my attention how insane these bills are. What exactly is going to be achieved from this? I understand that it protects the works of others. But these bills are too strict in my opinion. The World Wide Web is used for everything; it’s a way the word gets out faster to everyone. It is where creativity is becomes inspiration and where it is shared. I believe if these acts are passed creativity will stop because everyone will worry about not being sued. Every creative idea came from another one. It’s a never ending repeating cycle and should not be stop by these acts. The only good thing about this act is it will help prevent works being stolen from actual creator but other than that I see no other purpose for passing SOPA and PIPA. Stop the acts and keep inspiring creativity.

Sincerely,

Chelsea Crespin
